How We Serve Our Community
The Greenville area has been great to our family, so we try to be good to it as well! As with everything this is something we want to keep improving and we are looking at ways to streamline our service work. You can help! We are always looking for worthy people and places that could use our assistance, so if you have any ideas, please email us at email@example.com
We try to do as much volunteer work in the community as possible (cleaning peoples homes when they can’t afford it and working with non profit organizations on a labor donation/at cost basis) and we are passionate about helping share with others the things we have learned along the way. We do this in a couple different ways. Professionally and personally.
We have been through some great times and some tough times in our marriage of 10 years so we always are interested in talking with people about some of the things that have helped us. We enjoy sharing our Christian faith and how that has been a anchor that has been able to keep us safe through all sorts of things. We enjoy an active share in our Christian congregation.
Adam spends a lot of his drive time and down time learning and researching about successful ethical businesses and marketing strategies. He especially studies businesses that have a win-win dynamic, helping everyone they contact from suppliers to consumers. And he loves to share anything he learns, networking with existing business owners and especially by encouraging people that have a passion to start their own business.
Sharing the tools and strategies that have helped Foothills through some rough times and how applying the ideas he has learned has both improved quality of life (less 12 hour work days) and even helped the bottom line as well.
Here are some of our ideas that we are working on:
Disaster relief. We have several friends that were able to volunteer during last years hurricane damage (I know with this covid-19 outbreak that seems like 5 years ago) and we are working hard to arrange our finances and operations to be able to go if and when there is a need again.
We are looking to find a way to reach older ones on a fixed income in need. We feel that having clean, sanitized floors and upholstery is more important than ever as we get older. We have been working with the friends we know from our Bible group and people we meet in our work activity, but if you know of people who could use our help, and especially if you work in some sort of area where you know a lot of people, please contact us.
